Pirate Ship Day from Side Town: Pickup and Planning

Side in the middle of the belt

The operator's pickup belt follows the coast road, starting at Gündoğdu and ending at Kızılot, plus Manavgat town inland on the river. Side is its centre point. To the west lie Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı and Gündoğdu; to the east, Sorgun, Titreyengöl, Kızılağaç and Kızılot.

The big day's ship leaves from the Side departure dock at 10:00, and hotel transfers are timed around that departure. Being in Side does not change the fare or what is included, and we never print a pickup clock time for any hotel here.

How the pickup works from a Side hotel

• In the booking form, choose Side and then your hotel from the list.
• If your hotel is not on the list, write its name and we confirm it with the operator.
• The day before, we send the pickup time and the spot at your hotel where the vehicle stops.
• On the morning an air-conditioned vehicle calls at the hotel, and the same service drops you there afterwards.

Which of the two days for a Side family

The town itself does not decide it; the children do. If they are at the dressing-up age and a treasure map is the whole adventure, Little Pirates is the gentler pick and costs less per child. If they want a show, a river trip to the delta and a foam party with music, the pirate-ship day is the one.

Families in Side with children of very different ages often find the big day easier: a teenager can join the foam party while a smaller sibling hunts for the pirate Ferhat. Our side-by-side sets the two days out in full.

The evening before, in Side

Keep your phone charged and your messages switched on; the pickup confirmation arrives the day before. Pack the beach bag at night rather than at breakfast: swimwear, a towel each, high-SPF sunscreen, hats and a dry set of clothes for the children.

Put the fare aside in euros, in cash, along with a little extra for bar drinks, which are not in the fare on the big day. If your hotel serves an early breakfast, ask at reception the night before whether you can take something to eat on the way. Our packing list has the full checklist.
